Fire-affected Metal RecoveryA careful plan for recovering fire-damaged metal.

PMR welcomes enquiries for burnt vehicle removal and metal recovery from fire-affected yards, factories and warehouses. Every job starts with the site condition, access and the proposed scope.

A practical approach

Assess the site, then agree the recovery work

A fire-affected property can contain damaged structures and mixed materials as well as recoverable metal. Tell us what has happened and what needs removing. We establish whether the job is a vehicle collection, a metal clearance or a larger demolition project, and discuss the prerequisites for accessing and working on the site.

  • Burnt vehicle removal enquiries
  • Recoverable metal from fire-affected yards
  • Factory and warehouse metal recovery
  • Clearances coordinated with owners, agents or councils

Before you arrange the job

What we need to know

Provide the address, photos taken from a safe location and details of any site restrictions. Let us know who is authorised to arrange access and whether the site has been released for the proposed work. Do not enter an unsafe building or disturb unknown fire debris to prepare an enquiry.

Officer, Pakenham & beyond

Normal local collections are assessed within 50 km of Officer. Larger demolition projects can be assessed across Victoria. General fire restoration and hazardous-material remediation are not assumed to be part of a metal recovery quote; the scope must be agreed for the site.
