A practical approach

What to include in your electric motor recycling enquiry

Share the material type, approximate quantity and your location. Photos can help identify the load, but final acceptance and pricing depend on assessment. We work with households, trades and commercial customers, with one-off loads and ongoing scrap enquiries welcome.

  • Standalone redundant electric motors
  • Workshop and machinery motors
  • Multiple motors from commercial clearances
  • Motor-containing equipment, subject to assessment

Before you arrange the job

What we need to know

Only arrange removal after equipment has been safely disconnected by an appropriate person. Tell us the approximate size, quantity and whether motors are attached to machinery. Mention oils or other materials that may need separate handling.

Your questions answered

Electric Motor Recycling FAQs

Do I need to dismantle the motor first?

Do not dismantle equipment just for the enquiry. Send details of its current condition and we will confirm how it can be accepted.

How much will I receive for this material?

The offer depends on the material, grade, quantity, condition and handling requirements. Contact PMR for a current quote; we do not publish a fixed rate for every load.

Can you arrange collection?

Normal collections operate within 50 km of Officer. Give us the suburb, load details and access information so we can confirm suitability and any collection costs.
