A practical approach

A planned approach to rural metal recovery

Farm scrap is often spread across sheds, paddocks and work areas. Start by describing what needs removing and where it sits. Equipment size, ground conditions and loading access help us determine the collection approach. For larger clearances, a site assessment can establish the job before work starts.

  • Redundant farm machinery and metal equipment
  • Steel fencing, gates and structural offcuts
  • Metal stored around sheds and work areas
  • Mixed farm scrap, assessed for acceptance

Before you arrange the job

What we need to know

Share photos, approximate quantities and the property address. Tell us about narrow gateways, soft ground, slopes and the distance from the road to the metal. Mention any tanks, fluids, batteries or connected equipment so handling requirements can be discussed before collection.

Your questions answered

Farm Metal Clean-ups FAQs

Can you remove large farm machinery?

Send details and photographs of the equipment, including its size and location. We assess lifting, loading and access before confirming removal.

Do I need to move everything to the gate?

Do not move heavy equipment just for the enquiry. Explain where it is and we will discuss the most practical collection arrangement.

Can you supply a bin during a farm clean-up?

Yes, ask about a scrap metal bin. Suitability depends on the materials, access, available space and collection requirements.
