A practical approach

What to include in your brass recycling enquiry

Share the material type, approximate quantity and your location. Photos can help identify the load, but final acceptance and pricing depend on assessment. We work with households, trades and commercial customers, with one-off loads and ongoing scrap enquiries welcome.

  • Brass plumbing fittings
  • Taps and suitable valves
  • Brass offcuts and components
  • Mixed brass loads for assessment

Before you arrange the job

What we need to know

Keep brass separate from copper and steel where convenient. Tell us about plastic handles, rubber, other metals and any residue. Only bring items you are entitled to sell and confirm acceptance of unusual components in advance.

Your questions answered

Brass Recycling FAQs

Does every yellow-coloured metal count as brass?

Appearance alone is not enough to confirm the metal. Send photos or discuss an inspection so the material can be assessed.

How much will I receive for this material?

The offer depends on the material, grade, quantity, condition and handling requirements. Contact PMR for a current quote; we do not publish a fixed rate for every load.

Can you arrange collection?

Normal collections operate within 50 km of Officer. Give us the suburb, load details and access information so we can confirm suitability and any collection costs.
